EcoQoS is a new quality of service level in to improve performance and power efficiency. When you enable efficiency mode for a process, two changes occur: the process’s base priority is lower to “low,” ensuring that it doesn’t compete with higher-priority tasks, and its QoS level is set to EcoQoS, allowing Windows to manage it in a way that optimally balances power and performance.
According to Microsoft, enabling Efficiency Mode can result in 14% to 76% improvement in responsiveness, especially on busy systems. It also ruces the thermal footprint of the CPU by preventing it from being overload with background tasks, which results in a cooler, quieter system and potentially extends the life of the hardware.

How to enable efficiency mode for an app or process
Step 1: Open the Task Manager bc data china on your Windows 11 computer. This can be done by pressing Ctrl+ Shift+ Escon your keyboard or using any other preferr method.
